Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Talk:Dadvan Yousuf. What you were doing there on that talk page, please don't do it again. See WP:NOTFORUM and WP:BLP. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 21:42, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

OK--which part of "don't do it again" did you not understand? If you respond by posting that BLP-violating screed again, I will block you and revoked your access to this talk page. That's one option you have. The other is to ACTUALLY READ the policy I linked, and then act accordingly. Drmies (talk) 22:03, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I obviously don't understand good enough how this 'thing' works.
I thought, by posting it here, only you could read what I was writing. That seems not to be the case.
Or is it and you are 'offended' nonetheless?
Can you tell me how I can communicate privately with you on a DM base? I don't want anymore than that YOU understand my situation.
Again: I don't expect that the article will change as a result of it.
And if that's too much being asked, that you (only your eyes) will read what I would like to tell you, then go ahead and revoke the access. Because then I don't have more to say.
P.S. As you can see I'm not a usual Wiki-contributor. But I did donate the Wiki-foundation several hundred CHF in the last years. I myself am active in Openstreetmaps SispotirruT (talk) 22:20, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not your friend and I have no desire for communication. NOTFORUM lays out pretty clearly that that's not what we do here. This is an encyclopedia. No, everyone can read this talk page, and violations of the BLP are thus visible to everyone, which is why I had to go in and remove them. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 22:23, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well then - let's see if this is acceptable. And by the way, I DID read the policy and tried to follow it after the first time I was asked to read and follow it last year...
Hi there
Quite a long time ago I was asked to help to improve this article. Before that I had done some work on it where I tried to only put in information of high quality sources such as official authorities and high quality media.
Obviously I did not meet the Wiki standards and much was 'redone'.
I never answered the request for helping with the article further because it is a completely frustrating process.
Look, I understand it very well that people have to be protected from false allegations etc etc - and therefore such rules are necessary.
However, If someone personally KNOWS some truths but can't prove it in the way wiki needs it, you don't want to put so much time in it.
I will tell you what I know, then you will understand. I don't expect that this statement will change anything in the article. But perhaps you understand my personal frustration and that of so many others.
[this part deleted …]
Yes, all these things I know are true. And if only half of it were true, everyone would know what to think about DY. But as said: I know that it is not possible to put that in an article. But I don't want to put anymore time into helping "improve" the article in a way that I know would be acceptable by the wiki standards (which probably are necessary).
I hope, I guess, you can understand my frustration and the one of many others, having to read this article and knowing that so many things are wrong and a lot more true things can't be said. .... SispotirruT (talk) 22:37, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ponyobons mots 20:48, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • You appear to completely misunderstand the purpose of Wikipedia. The sole use of this account has been to attempt to add unsupported and poorly sourced content regarding a living subject to the encyclopedia. Wikipedia is not a platform to right great wrongs and you cannot continue to use it as such. You retain access to this talk page to make a WP:GAB-compliant block appeal, if you wish to do so, but if you continue posting inappropriate content I will remove your ability to edit here altogether.-- Ponyobons mots 20:48, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I'm definitely finished with contributing money (yes, I did, several hundreds of $) and effort into Wikipedia.
You write: "The sole use of this account has been to attempt to add unsupported and poorly sourced content ..."
What better source than the official governmental information page on commerce could exist? But you delete the content.
What better source than the direct links videos done by and published by the discussed person can I deliver? SispotirruT (talk) 21:00, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
