Deletion of Lawson Tait image[edit]

Hi, I was the uploader of the "Lawson tait.jpg" image that you recently deleted. I have only just realised you did it, so sorry about delay getting back to you. It is true I am not the copyright holder. If you read the article you will find LT died in 1899 - 110 years ago. In fact, I believe it was taken in 1880, which makes it 129 years old. Consequently it is quite clearly out of copyright. I downloaded it off the internet to upload here to save myself scanning it in, but I do in fact have several books and a slide of this image - it was used quite widely. If you like I can provide references at a later point (I am currently away from my where the books are). If you would like to discuss this further, I would be happy to do so in around a month when I will be looking at resolving other copy right issues concerning LT's work and if you like I can provide you with a link to my email. Do you think we can reinstate the image in the meantime? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.31.176.119 (talk) 23:15, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Incidentally, should I assume you have no problem with my reinstating the image, if you do not get back to me in, say, a month's time? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dxnnxd (talkcontribs) 17:23, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for deleting that image, if it was you who did! I was wondering why it wasn't being deleted, as I didn't need it any more. Amicianthony (talk) 02:18, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you delete my image?[edit]

Dear Skierdude Why did you delete my image? I am creating this page for my research organisation and as such have permission to upload the image. Once the page is created the page will be launched.

Hi Skier. Can you restore the content that was once there in Ness Wadia to User:Shshshsh/Ness Wadia as we feel this article was unjustly deleted without an AFD as far as I'm aware and he would apprear to be a notable businessman. Can you give this editor a chance to perhaps expand on what was their originally and assert notability? If it is restored to his user space and he can at least try to salvage the article this should avoid mainscape conflict.Thanks. Dr. Blofeld White cat 12:51, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

EduMation[edit]

I don't know why EduMation was deleted although it is a well-known site among many scholars, and there are many people everyday visiting this site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Msdaif (talkcontribs) 19:02, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Steve Farris article.[edit]

skier DUDE, Noticed you deleted Steve Farris article. He is (or was) a real person as guitarist for Mr. Mister, and I believe with Eddie Money, Whitesnake, and many other famous artists before and after that. Was the article not properly cited or something? He is referred to in other articles, but now robbed of his own? I consider him "notable" as a very talented creator and artist. Could you please explain this deletion to me? Alscalini (talk) 23:38, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I took this picture myself. Undelete it, please.
