Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Skoek. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 11:52, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, 331dot. There is no COI. I will keep it in mind if such COI arises. Skoek (talk) 11:54, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You didn't pick this person at random to edit about- how did you come to edit about her? 331dot (talk) 11:54, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm regular user of Bloomberg and CNBC - discovered her work and found it interesting. Skoek (talk) 11:56, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thank you- as your account is new, you will need to submit the draft for a review. As it is now, it is likely to be declined, as it just summarizes her activities. An article about a person needs to summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the person, showing how they meet the special Wikipedia definition of a notable person. "Significant coverage" goes beyond merely describing her activities and goes into detail about what the source sees as important/significant/influential about the person. 331dot (talk) 11:59, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your guidance. I will try to find such sources and submit it for review when it is ready. Skoek (talk) 12:02, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
