I feel slightly wrong editing in your userspace so I think it'll be better if I raise my queries here, hope that's OK.

  • What IS churning of button? A quick search can't verify it as a textile term or phrase.
  • Solution dyeing could be a redirect to Wet Processing Engineering#Solution Dyeing but that article has obvious sourcing issues.
  • Wire loom seems to predominantly refer to a gadget for keeping computer cables, electricial leads and other wires neat and tidy, rather than to a textiles/clothing use (although I do see a couple of references to weaving looms made of wire).
  • Textile block system isn't actually about textiles or clothing, but refers to an architectural/house building system developed by Frank Lloyd Wright, so probably belongs on another list.

I started adding some of your terms to Wikipedia:Requested articles/Arts and entertainment/Fashion, but stopped when I got to "Types of Clothing" as I wanted to be sure it was okay with you what I was doing. There are some very good things on your list that should have been on the Requested Articles list before now! Hopefully we can work together on improving both lists. Polysham?[edit]

Do you know what polysham is? The internet wants to know, including someone on the end of the Talk:Bamboo textile page. My guess is a poly (ester) sham (pillow cover) and a typo, but I really have no idea. HLHJ (talk) 20:31, 4 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
