Your email

[edit]

I have received your email. The current article is similar to the deleted article, hence the tag. You can contest the deletion, pointing out the references about the singer, not the band, which was why the last article was redirected. PhilKnight (talk) 18:32, 19 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, @PhilKnight thanks for writing back in. I have made a draft as it is suggested by an administrator Draft:Bilal Ali (singer) I didn't know that this page was deleted in the past, else I would make a draft directly. Slackyboy (talk) 06:16, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Bilal Ali (singer) (May 21)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Robert McClenon was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: The title Bilal Ali (singer) and the title Bilal Ali (Vocalist) are locked redirects following Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bilal Ali (Vocalist). I could not accept this draft even if I wanted to accept it, and another reviewer will not be able to accept it. Resubmission of this draft will not be useful. The submitter should either ask the locking administrator, User:ONUnicorn to unlock the redirect, or ask Requests for Page Protection to unlock the redirect, or ask Deletion Review to unlock the redirect.

This draft has been Rejected by a reviewer in the Articles for Creation review process. DO NOT resubmit this draft or attempt to resubmit this draft or prepare or submit a draft that is substantially the same as this draft without discussing the reasons for the rejection. You may request a discussion with the rejecting reviewer, or you may request a discussion with the community at the Teahouse. A discussion will not necessarily agree to a resubmission. If this draft is resubmitted, or an attempt is made to resubmit this draft or an equivalent draft, without addressing the reasons for the Rejection, a topic-ban or a partial block may be requested against the submitting editor, and the draft may be nominated for deletion.

You may ask for advice about Rejection at the Teahouse.

For the record @Robert McClenon - if you or any AFC reviewer thinks the draft is suitable, I will unprotect the title. But only if an AFC reviewer accepts the draft. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 04:26, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
User:ONUnicorn, User:Slackyboy - Based on the statement by ONUnicorn that they would unlock the title if a reviewer accepted the draft, I reversed the rejection to review the draft. I have declined the draft as not meeting any of the musical notability criteria individually. The draft is now in a declined state, so that it may be resubmitted after revisions.
