Hello, I don't know how to use these Talk pages, but like I was saying, Brandy has stated in videos and tweets that Human had become one of her favorite albums. I'm not trying to add that to the article, all I am trying to do is take out the dated references that say she hates the album based off of one article from 2010. It's no longer relevant. AND it's not relevant enough to keep on the main part of the article. The album came out in 2008. You don't see articles written about other albums formatted in that way.
- That's not how wikipedia works. Information with a reliable source is in the article. You cannot remove that information just because you don't like it. The lead section should summarise every section/the article overall. It is very unusual for an artist to dislike their own body of work. That is sourced in the aftermath section. Therefore it is proper and correct for this to be referenced in the lead section, particularly it was a factor in ending Norwood's contract with Epic Records. If you wish to add that Norwood has since grown to line Human, find the reliable sources and references, add them to the article or post here and I'll add them. Otherwise the way you are editing is not supported by wikipedia - it is now a WP:EDITWAR and you have exceeded the maximum number of revisions allowed. The next step would be a ban, if you are not careful. Two editors, myself and Noboyo have disagreed with you. Start a discussion at Talk:Human (Brandy Norwood album) and see if you can build a concensus to support your view. - I read one of your comments on someone else's talk page, asking them why they reverted one of your edits that was formatted similar to another page. You trying to give me a warning and potential ban is completely uncalled for. I know what I'm doing. I'm not an idiot. This is exactly why news outlets are calling Wikipedia out for its lack of diversity. White editors take over pages and try to ban others when they make edits.
- To get back on topic, I can understand wanting a source that says Brandy likes the album now, but that's not the argument. I never tried to add that to the page. What I'm saying is there is an IMPACT section in the article to discuss the aftermath of the album and what she has said (in the past) about the album. It's not uncommon for artists not to like an album or not to think highly of an album. If you read what is sourced (which, by the way, your edit in the introduction remains unsourced), Brandy says the album was too pop. - Regardless, read WP:LEAD, it is a summary of the entire page not selected items. I'll revisit the sources and check that what is written in the impact section matches the sources provided but regardless, of that the lead accurately reflects the entire article so the information will remain even if it ends up being tweaked slightly. ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 19:45, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

- In the docu-series A Family Business - Norwood and Jerkins argue about Human. Norwood accuses Jerkins of not giving her the best material
- In Out magazine, Norwood says "to hell with that album". In the same interview she says "But, where I felt creatively it could've gone and the space I was in creatively, I needed everybody around me to be in that same space. First of all, it would've been a different album, but with the same inspiration and same blessing for other people. It would've been hotter music and a hotter look. ". Comments like "to hell with it" - that's disdain
- In an interview with LA Times, Brandy said Human wasn't as creative.
- In interview with That Grape Juice, she says "For me, I didn’t feel like I was listening to my own voice. I was listening to the voice of my team more so than what was going on inside of me. With ‘Human’." This implies that that everyone has a different creative vision.

- Again, the argument was never about including what's written or not, it's about including it in the intro. Everything you sourced was written ten years ago or almost ten years ago. It's not relevant for an introduction. It doesn't reflect what she may or may not think about the album now. But since you're threatening to "ban" me if I undo the edit without a source, I will work to find the video and/or social media post where Brandy does speak of Human in a positive light (which she has, I just cannot find it, and it may have been in an Instagram story which means it's gone forever).Slayana talk
- There is no threat, I merely said if you continue to revert in a way that is not supported by evidence you may be banned. I understand what you are saying completely. At the time of writing, a year after the album was released, Brandy expressed her dislike for the album. That is in the aftermath section and it is sourced. EVERY section of an article should be included in the WP:LEAD - this is the bit you seem to not understand. Our guidance for the purpose of a lead section says
"the serves as an introduction to the article and a summary of its most important contents"
. The aftermath or legacy of a project is an important part of the article, therefore its inclusion in the lead is warranted. If her opinion/feelings towards the album have since changed, and that information is added to the aftermath section we can update the lead to reflect that. But at the moment, the lead section accurately reflects what is in the article. Otherwise anyone could say "I've seen on a blog or in a video an artist say they like their album" and we would be stuck. Brandy's negative opinion towards Human at its time of writing was accurate and is sourced by reliable sources. Any subsequent opinion is not yet documented in the article hence it can't be added nor can the information already present be changed to reflect your point of view. That's what I'm trying to say.
