License tagging for Image:Greenville AL Butler Co Court House.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Greenville AL Butler Co Court House.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:05, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

Medical Slang[edit]

Regarding your inquiry to reversions made on the article Medical slang, what I saw were edits that seemed rather informal (even for slang), such as "Foreverectomy", "Horrendoplasty", and "Pus in Dare" from an unlogged IP address that has been blocked in the past, so I naturally assumed vandalism. I would ask that, when adding things to Wikipedia, even under slang, please ask yourself if it is something which holds encyclopedic value. Please understand that Wikipedia is not a dictionary or a jargon guide. I apologize for any misunderstanding on my part, and hope you enjoy editing here! Kntrabssi 22:51, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • If you had been logged in, the article would probably not have been reverted. Because you were not logged in, and your IP address was blocked in the past, the assumption was that is was vandalism. I will revert the article back to your previous revisions, but I am considering proposing it for deletion, as it really serves no encyclopedic value. In the meantime, however, I will restore your changes. Kntrabssi 23:34, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
