I found your wording awkward and unclear. The whole section actually needs work. Congress authorizes ranks. The president appoints officers. The Senate confirms the selection of general officers. Besides that, the legislation creating the "General of the Armies" rank specifically states that this rank is not to be used again. Feel free to work on it, though. I shouldn't have changed your edit without sending you a note or posting my explanation in the article's talk page. Sorry 'bout that. Rklawton 05:52, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Matthew Shepard and University of Wyoming

[edit]

Hello, you have been removing Matthew Shepard from the University of Wyoming article. You say that he isn't a notable alumnus. Is that because you don't believe he is a notable person, or because you don't believe that he is a UoW alumnus? Thanks. ~a (usertalkcontribs) 23:29, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh never mind. I didn't see the huge talk page section. I'll discuss there. ~a (usertalkcontribs) 23:34, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop removing Matthew Shepard from University of Wyoming. There is no consensus to remove it. OhNoitsJamie Talk 01:01, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stolen Valor Act of 2005

[edit]

What gives you the right to remove verifable information, I have contributed? I can repost it just as often as you can remove it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.153.201.212 (talk) 05:14, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you would care to post your "verifiable information," the rest of us may be able to determine whether your assertion has any validity. Until then, laws are presumed to be constitutional until determined otherwise and your post is otherwise a baseless statement of opinion. Slyjackalope (talk) 16:11, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

1st Infantry Division (United States)

[edit]

Hello. The edit I had reverted from 1st Infantry Division (United States) has no WP:SOURCE and has both typo and grammar issues. Hopefully you can improve the content and reincorporate it into the article. — MrDolomite • Talk 18:24, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
