You've got it a bit wrong, I think

[edit]

You've created a new article titled The New Basement Tapes, and you have described The New Basement Tapes as a band who are responsible for the creation of an album titled Lost on the River. I think you've somewhat missed the point. The title of the album is Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapes. The group of musicians who have gathered to create this album do not appear to have used any particular name. I propose, therefore, to move your article to the new title Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapes, and change the lede to describe this as a new album, not as a band. Objections? WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:41, 19 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dan, I know for a fact that the band name is The New Basement Tapes. I cited the band's website as a source. You can also look at the official video on youtube and you will see that the artist name is The New Basement Tapes. T Bone Burnett has also spoken of future volumes to come, so I felt it made sense to title the article with the band name so that future volumes (if any) could be added to the page. Also, the album is not a tribute album and that term is not used in any of the media - sourced and otherwise. Hope I'm responding correctlySmallpink (talk) 04:52, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Smallpink - What is the source for the songwriting credits? --Hapennymillionaire (talk) 05:16, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hapennymillionaire - I got it directly from the record company. I have no online source to cite. Do I have to remove those credits?Smallpink (talk) 05:30, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
