Hi, and a more personal welcome to Wikipedia. I've added another tag to Theerios - on the grounds that I can find no-one making them! Always a good idea to do a quick Google... Peridon (talk) 20:06, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. It looks like the article has been deleted, anyway. Smappy (talk) 20:07, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I changed the page Meditourist to redirect to Medical tourism then applied a PROD with concern of "doesn't appear to be a real term". Cheers, -Zeus-u|c 20:50, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK, fair enough. Smappy (talk) 20:51, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I sourced the stub, formatted it, and added more information. Then I removed your PROD tag. It is no longer a dictionary definition. Before prodding articles, please search Google or another online database to check for possible notability. Bearian (talk) 03:11, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Whenever you accept an article, don't forget to use the "preload" links in the template before removing it. This just adds an article talk page banner and notifies the article's creator that their submission was accepted. Thanks for helping out!  fetchcomms 00:33, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

hang ons[edit]

Hello :) I noticed that you added a hangon tag to Domain flipping. Usually when you do this, you leave a reason on the talk page saying why you do so, so others understand why. Thanks. (by the way, if you've already done so by the time you read this, ignore it- my computer's slow.) SS(Kay) 09:34, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I added the hangon first (to stop a very speedy deletion), and then added the reason on the talk - probably 1 or 2 mins after. Smappy (talk) 09:35, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oops, sorry :P. (btw, very awesome start to a wikicareer... my first few months were nowhere near as active as you are). SS(Kay) 09:39, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

D.S. Senanayake College[edit]

You have marked D.S.Senanayake college article's Hostel part as unreferenced. Dear Smappy, plz be informed that you can't find necessary information on that matter in the web. But I my self am a previous Head Prefect of the Hostel and am a student of the first batch who eye-witnessed the opening ceremony. I hope that'll be enough for you, and plz consider that dont want any edit war. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pasanbhathiya2 (talkcontribs) 18:12, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You[edit]

Dear Smappy, Thanks for helping me to understand Wikipedia policies. I'm really sorry,if I've broken them. Could you please clarify me the following issues?

  • If an information is accurate 100% yet the information is not available in a third-party resource, how can we go with it?
  • We gather information from persons who are directly involved in a matter in Media field(In which I have great experiences). Can't we use an information that way in Wikipedia?

Please help me! I don't need to be a editor with a conflict of interest! I just need to be a good editor. Do you think that I should contact an admin regarding this matter? Further,I'm really sorry for not signing in your talkpage before. I'll do it now! Pasanbhathiya2 (talk) 03:02, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your rollback request[edit]

Hello Smappy, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert anything else (such as by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with) can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning, depending on the admin who becomes aware of any misuse. If you think an edit should require a reason for reverting, then don't use rollback and instead, use a manual edit summary. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 18:42, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Corrections[edit]

I don't understand what the problem is with my edit to the Josie and the Pussycats (Film) page, I just watched the movie yesterday, they didn't go to a REAL show of Total Request Live. the real Carson Daly was also in the film, but the attempt to kill Melody and Valerie took place on a fake stage with no real audience and Aries Spears impersonating Daly, among others. —Preceding unsigned comment added by KerryEDavis (talkcontribs) 01:48, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see; thanks. I put the edits back. Smappy (talk) 08:30, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been in mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Keegscee for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Crossmr (talk) 02:01, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
