IP Range blocked[edit]

I am accessing my account at present from a corporate network - vandal must be using another company computer? SmartGuy (talk) 22:52, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Autoblock of your IP address has been lifted.--Jayron32.talk.contribs 00:27, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Doyle Brunson[edit]

I have reponsed to your request. Not only did I add a citation per request of Strongside (or whatever his name was) simple research shows that Doyle is iconic in the poker world. My edit was in good faith. This is a corporate IP the vandalism were not performed by me. (if that is why there was a quick revert) 63.76.234.250 (talk) 16:05, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sportsbook.com[edit]

Please explain your deletion of my contribution.Fadeintoyou (talk) 21:21, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

at first it seemed as if you were out to discredit them. Perhaps that was a bit of a premature action by me. Let's let others have time to see it and comment on it. If you want to make comments or questions about the article then see Talk:Sportsbook.com SmartGuy (talk) 21:31, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The contribution was primarily three inappropriate links to a non-RS, and a long laundry list. I removed it again. If the user wants to start a discussion on the talk page to properly source complaints about the company, fine, but we aren't here to promote somebody's website. 2005 (talk) 21:38, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Forbes is not a reputable source? Sportsbook Review is the primary independent watchdog of the on-line sports betting industry. They're not reputable? The only person shilling a website here is you. If you wish to mediate this, we can. Otherwise, stop vandalizing my edits.Fadeintoyou (talk) 21:50, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm moving this to Talk:Sportsbook.com. SmartGuy (talk) 22:22, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I gave him a one-day break. If he's like most of these guys, he'll stop and be done. If he's one of the crazy ones, he'll be spamming with a million different IP address so blocking the registered account won't matter (semi-protecting the page will stop him). If he actually starts up with the registered account again, it's permanent. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 06:29, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
cool, thanks, time for sleep anyway. Edit warring can wear a man out :-) SmartGuy (talk) 06:36, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
FYI, if you hear from him, I'd suggest reading WP:SOUP and see if that isn't familiar. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 07:38, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Again victim of someone on my corporate network vandalizing Wikipedia - unblock?

Decline reason:

Please follow the instructions at Template:Autoblock as I am unable to identify the IP address which has been blocked and is affecting you. Stifle (talk) 14:57, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

oops heh heh think I would know my way around Wiki by now

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Autoblock of 167.230.38.115 lifted or expired. If this happens much more in the future, you may want to consider requesting temporary exemption from IP blocks.

List of Online Poker Sites[edit]

{{helpme}} As someone who apparently also is interested in poker perhaps you can help me expand the article List of online poker sites. Not only is it extremely incomplete but it is also not really a list. I need help actually turning it into a list, similar in appearance to List of countries by GDP (nominal). If you could add to it that would be a great help. Be so empty without me (talk) 07:53, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that some people think that it is better as part of the Online poker article. I suggest that you start a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Poker SmartGuy (talk) 12:50, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the revert[edit]

Thanks for the revert on the Charles J. Bates article. I really appreciated it. Chris (talk) 18:04, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! Just trying to keep the house all neat and clean. SmartGuy (talk) 20:56, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Link to Pokerfornia reviews[edit]

Hello.

Per your recommendation, I added this to the talk section for commerce, [[3]] I haven't received any feedback yet. Best, —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.180.34.50 (talk) 04:44, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I hope all is well. It's now been a month since I first recommended the pokerfornia link. I think I'm going to add the link to the commerce page for now. If anyone wants to provide a better link, please add a comment to the discussion I started on the Commerce page. [[4]].
