Content about living people[edit]

Please stop reinserting unsourced claims about a living person's religion. Such claims MUST be supported by a citation to a reliably published source in which the person self-identifies as having/following a particular religious belief system. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 19:48, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You are not a reliably published source. And as someone personally involved with the subject, you should not be directly editing the article at all. Please make your suggestions on the talk page, with appropriate sources to verify the claims. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 19:54, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Filmyfolks is not a reliably published source. We needs a place with a reputation for fact checking and accuracy, not a celebrity gossip site. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 19:59, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Mushtaq Pasha requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 19:58, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a reliable source and merely being a director or writer or producer or even Director-Writer-Producer does not make someone eligible for an article. To have a stand alone article the subject must have been the subject of in depth coverage by a reliably published third party source. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 20:11, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
IMDB only proves the existence, not the notability, of a project. And following the rules IS REQUIRED for "improving" the encyclopedia. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 20:15, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikilinking[edit]

Hi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia.

I noticed an article you worked on. Just a short note to point out that we don’t normally link:

  • dates
  • years
  • commonly known geographical terms (including well-known country-names), and
  • common terms you’d look up in a dictionary (unless significantly technical).

(This even applies for infoboxes.)

Please also note the downcasing.

Thanks and my best wishes.
