Hi Smileyshow!

[edit]

Welcome again and thanks for leaving me a message. I had a little look around and it seems that Wikipedia used to have articles on Tanaka Koki, Taguchi Junnosuke, Ueda Tatsuya and Nakamaru Yuichi. Now we only have individual articles on the other two members of KAT-TUN, Kazuya Kamenashi and Jin Akanishi. The articles for the other four members of the group used to exist (indeed they are still hidden in the page history). However, another editor has said that they do not meet Wikipedia's inclusion guidelines for musicians. You can see the guideline here at WP:MUSIC. It's a long document, but the key part in this situation says if individual members of a group are 'notable' for activities outside of membership in the group, then they should have individual articles. If they are only notable for being in the group - they should be covered in the group's article. Confused yet? I know it's complicated and Wikipedia has confusing ways of determining who should have an article and who should not. If you think you can find evidence (online newspaper articles are great) that the other four members of KAT-TUN are important for something other than being in KAT-TUN (solo releases, other entertainment careers etc) then let me know and I can help you create the articles. Sorry for the long answer :) I hope that helps to explain a bit. Cheers, Paxse (talk) 14:32, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
