Re: User:Talha bin asim

Re your message: I deleted the categories and took another try at cleaning up the article. I think the editor meant well, but there may be some conflict of interest issues there. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 03:26, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

Pakistan Barnstar of National Merit
For seeing things exactly as I see them, not taking the rather severe criticism to heart. Like Mar4d, SPECTRE has filed a cloning report of you ready to clone your much needed quality service to Pakistan articles with 10,000 minimes, all capable of zapping up the POV and CAPITAL LETTERS with a stun gun. Thankyou for producing good content to Pakistan topics, may it spread rapidly.♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 15:42, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
Thank you Blofeld for the barnstar and also for the effort you are putting in to improve the articles in this topic area. --SMS Talk 04:50, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

Controversies Section in HEC

Aoa,

Education Page of United Kingdom has Criticism page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_in_England

US has it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commission_on_the_Future_of_Higher_Education

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_in_the_United_States

How is it not undue on all the above pages and it's undue on HEC page?

It seems HEC does not have any criticism from significant majority and has no controversies, which is not the truth. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 182.185.255.162 (talk) 12:45, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Thanks Salman — Preceding unsigned comment added by 182.185.255.162 (talk) 12:44, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Wasalam Salman! I haven't said that the controversy/criticism section is undue in the HEC article. What I am saying is that this particular issue is undue for a mention in that article as the person involved in this issue is not notable. And this type of cases are common in this part of world. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a newspaper, so we need to figure out what information is encyclopedic and what not before adding anything here. And sorry I can't find a similar case mentioned in the criticism section of articles you have linked above. If you still think it deserves to be included, we can have an opinion of some other editors on this. Regards --SMS Talk 18:06, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply.

I think I get you now. Thanks for the explanation.

But it's really sad that people with Fake Degrees are educating our next generation and HEC does NOTHING about it.

Regards Salman 182.185.255.162 (talk) 20:07, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Totally agree with you on this. And it is because of hiring individuals in HEC and other organizations on personal/political affiliations rather than merit. --SMS Talk 09:56, 28 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Operation Tight Screw, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kurram (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Before Reverting Anything

You cannot revert any edits without discussing first. One who deletes the cited additions of others You delete the cited additions of others with the complaint that they did not discuss their edits first. There is no rule on Wikipedia that someone has to get permission from you before they put cited information in an article. Such a rule would clearly contradict Wikipedia:Be bold. There is guidance from ArbCom that removal of statements that are pertinent, sourced reliably, and written in a neutral style constitutes disruption. Instead of removing cited work, you should be questioning uncited information.

Wikipedia is not the right place for promotion of your site or views. If you think I am violating any of the Wikipedia's rules, you are good to take me to WP:ARBCOM. Happy Editing! --SMS Talk 14:50, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

We are copyright content holders in Geographic territory of Pakistan for 10 Pakistani Channels. Our firm ZemMedia has been asked to add these links to wiki by permission of all stakeholders. We can add the documents of the rights also for reference. So stop reverting our citations. We are adding to wikipedia Pakistan Project, which lacks a lot. So instead of getting obsessed with us, you can work like a true wikipedia editor and improve rather than revert without discussion or dish out warnings. Yousufshakeel65 (talk) 14:54, 30 October 2012 (UTC).

We have plans to create pages for thousands of drama serials and also celebrities which have not been added so far. If you are Pakistani, you would know it. Celebrities like Rubina Ashraf doesnt have wikipedia pages even. So when we will be done it will result in creation of 3 Millions Wikipedia New Content Pages by next 3 months.

Before doing any further edit I strongly recommend you to read some of the important policies of Wikipedia: Reliable Source, Spamming, Copyrights, What Wikipedia is not, Notability, Neutral Point of View, Verifiability, Biographies of living persons. --SMS Talk 15:07, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

Ok, thanks :) I will surely read, I did read all of them earlier also though. Yousufshakeel65 (talk) 15:10, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

Request

Can you revert back the changes you did today? I will be careful from now on, but all the citations I did earlier were proper and legal. As our firm been asked by the Copyright holders to cite this resource that was linked. Apparently internet rights for all these channels have been purchased by this website. So it has THE ONLY right to get external links if anybody wants to view anything. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yousufshakeel65 (talkcontribs) 15:14, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

I am sorry I can't revert that as per my understanding of Wikipedia policies, these links are not permitted. If you really have valid copyrights of all those videos, you should take advice at WT:COPY and WT:CP. Regards --SMS Talk 15:28, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
