P.S. I've reverted your edit at imaginary number, "defining" i as the square root of -1 is problematic, please see imaginary unit for details.

Hi! Thanks for clearing things up at the PHS article. It's refreshing to have people contributing good information rather than vandalism to high school articles :) Happy editing! --Alynna 01:27, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Annual Poolesville Speedball Tournament requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Corvus cornixtalk 21:41, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Annual Poolesville Speedball Tournament. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. -- ArglebargleIV (talk) 21:54, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Annual Poolesville Speedball Tournament. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- ArglebargleIV (talk) 22:02, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page, as you did with Annual Poolesville Speedball Tournament, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Corvus cornixtalk 22:05, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Old School Nickelodeon, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Old School Nickelodeon. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Caldorwards4 (talk) 01:43, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Greater Middle East for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Greater Middle East is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Greater Middle East until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion.
