Kutahal: A Unique Initiative for Science Communication Sachin Narwadiya Scientist-Vigyan Prasar Our nation and its citizens need scientific thinking and scientific understanding for the achievement of the progress towards advance nation. To inculcate the scientific temper and sense of curiosity has a new initiative KUTUHAL is upcoming. The complete form of English letters of KUTUHAL are K-knowledge-, U-Understanding-, test-testing, U-Use, H-Health, A-Appliances, Learn-Learning. KUTUHAL is organized on this theme. In the year 2017, the exhibition based on the useful tools in the house was organized under the KUTUHAL and in the month of February 2019, the exhibition based on healthcare related equipment will be organized. This year this event will be held in Nagpur on 9-11 February 2019 in the campus of VNIT, Nagpur. This program is expected to have 2 lakh peoples visit per day. Its main purpose is to understand the significance of organ donation and to make people aware about it. Travel between births and death is life. This trip is pleasant with health. The area of healing is the basis of the equipment related to health care. Their role begins as a person born and continues after death, i.e. birth before birth. Due to the progress in science today, it is possible that we can keep human organs alive and can implant in other human body. It is called organ donation. Curiosity to know how all this works? KUTUHAL has focused on telling the story of traditional equipment from traditional BP equipment to ultra-modern CT scan and from the old styled stethoscope to the futuristic endoscope. During this grand exhibition, the demonstration of the science of equipment’s and their works in medical devices along with the principles will be explained by the service engineers of the technical experts, medical machinery and manufacturers of the equipment. Prevention is better than cure and awareness can be sure to a great extent. Diseases like cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease are not all caused overnight. Some diseases spread from animals to humans are termed as zoonotic diseases. To avoid them, specialist suggestions of "what to do and not" can prove to be important for a healthy life. KUTUHAL will also organize seminars to create awareness amongst people through seminars, posters, videos, etc. in it. A key feature of KUTUHAL will be part of the human body from delicate brain to T-Lymphocytes. Viewing the protected limbs with the comments of experts will prove to be a life-time experience for visitors. During the video of live dissection, post mortem etc. and after that an insight into the human body will attract interests of public in KUTUHAL. Medical science is moving forward with innovations such as the use of robotic surgery and the use of artificial intelligence. With the research done in India through the ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) Labs, these innovations along with the doctors will be known to the common man as to where we are going. Healthcare is a multi-dimensional interdisciplinary field, in which careers are spread far beyond mere medical practice. Basic science can contribute to "newbie technologies, biomedical engineering, and many other support systems, which provide huge opportunities in health-related services." This kind of career will showcase Avenue during KUTUHAL. The innovations will be displayed in a cautious manner. There was a doctor at the centre level in the medical profession. But there are a team of facilitators such as pharmacy professionals, medical technicians, physiotherapists, nursing crews, transplant coordinators etc. Among them, these paramedical professionals can also prove to be at least a boon in emergencies and in rural areas and very important in serious health conditions. Without paramedic support, medical treatment is incomplete, although they remain as strings behind feathers, they will also focus on paramedical practices as a helper for curiosity. In the year 2017, KUTUHAL performed an exhibition to understand and understand the work of home appliances in Dharampeth Science College, Nagpur. The exhibitors explained the principle and function of different parts of the equipment. Some devices on display included washing machines, refrigerators, ACs, television, etc. Some stalls include models on modern cotton research techniques, sewage treatment plants and various mathematical and scientific concepts. We use many applications like Microwave Oven, Induction Cooker, Washing Machine, Air Conditioner, Fridge, LED Bulb, Tube Light, Fan, TV, Printer, Scanner etc. at home. However, we do not know much about the science behind these devices. It was a unique exhibition to showcase the home appliances and to understand their work. The exhibition of home appliances was for the students and their parents and it was shown to them that what is the operating principle? And what are their different tasks and their functions?
