Hi, thanks for your addition to this article. Could you add a citation to the source you mention? The DOI tool http://reftag.appspot.com/doiweb.py makes this easy, you just paste the paper's DOI into the tool and it gives you a whole Wikipedia ref to paste into the article. Many thanks! References[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 17:45, 5 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Reference please[edit]

May I echo Doc James above, and I note this is not the first time I've had to speak to you about a similar matter: this is important. Your recent addition about tanagers to Western honey bee made a specific claim which is however uncited. I'd be really grateful if you could cite this immediately; if you're not familiar with WP:V and WP:RS, which are core policies on our project, please read them now. Many thanks, Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:58, 20 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Photo of immature pecans[edit]

You recently deleted a photo of immature pecans, claiming to identify them as persimmons. The tree I photographed in my neighborhood has been bearing pecans for decades. Persimmon fruit are quite different. I am not sure if this was mistaken overconfidence or something else. I urge caution. Pete unseth (talk) 12:36, 16 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I just talked to my neighbor the biologist: you were correct in saying they were persimmons, a wild sort. Growing by pecan trees. You were right, I was wrong. Pete unseth (talk) 17:14, 1 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
