Hello, Soccer factfile sorti

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Skarmory, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Adam Clarke Shillcock, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. To prevent the deletion, please add a reference to the article. You may remove the deletion tag yourself once the article has at least one reliable source.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Skarmory}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

<<Re/Skarmory>> I have added some reference in support of the biography. Please let me know if these are suitable. Soccer factfile sorti (talk) 08:02, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I believe you added more information, not a citation. Taking this excerpt from the "add a reference" link above:
A citation, also called a reference,[note 1] uniquely identifies a source of information, e.g.:
Ritter, R. M. (2003). The Oxford Style Manual. Oxford University Press. p. 1. ISBN 978-0-19-860564-5.
You should provide citations to verify any information. This guide should help you figure out how to source your articles – it'll describe it much better than I can.
Good luck! Skarmory (talk • contribs) 11:51, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi ,
Appropriate citations should now be added articles using your advice . Soccer factfile sorti (talk) 05:14, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the James Rowland (footballer) article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 07:27, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Adam Clarke Shillcock requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adam Clarke Shillcock. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Thanks Jimfbleak. I’m simply trying to post my first article using fact. The previous deletion stated there was no reference to this individual and I have provided significant evidence to suggest this person is who he is. How am I to create future articles and confidence in my use of Wikipedia if I cannot get this proposal authorised ? Soccer factfile sorti (talk) 10:21, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
