Proposed deletion of Arnis Rubins
[edit]The article Arnis Rubins has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non notable footballer - fails WP:ATHLETE as he has never played in a fully-pro league and fails WP:GNG.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- BigDom 19:36, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
Removal of PROD from Arnis Rubins
[edit]I don't agree with your rational for removing the PROD I placed on Arnis Rubins. The Welsh Premier League is not a fully-pro league as per this list of pro leagues and neither is the Latvian league. I'm going to have to set up an AfD now. -- BigDom 13:56, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
Articles for deletion nomination of Arnis Rubins
[edit]I have nominated Arnis Rubins, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Arnis Rubins. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. -- BigDom 13:58, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
- Please do not remove AfD tags, this is considered to be vandalism and may result in you being blocked from editing -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 14:15, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
AfD notice removal
[edit]Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you.-- BigDom 14:16, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
