Jack Ikegwuonu

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for adding information to Jack Ikegwuonu, but I must inform you that a portion of the information added to the "Early years" section was, from what I could tell, copied almost directly from this. This is considered a copyright violation and I have removed it. However, the rest of your additions to the article are clean and I have made a few copyedits here and there that you can view from this diff (or difference between edits). If you need any help, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you for your contributions, and again, welcome! Eagles 24/7 (C) 21:07, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, I can understand your getting used to things around here as a new user. Keep up the good work. Eagles 24/7 (C) 21:39, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have made a few changes to the article and summarized in the edit summary. Eagles 24/7 (C) 22:02, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
In my opinion, that play sounds like a very good one made by Ikegwuonu, but there is nothing truly special about it that would warrant inclusion in Ikegwuonu's biography. A game-winning kick return for a touchdown, however, could probably deserve a line or more, but a routine tackle to eventually prevent a score that could have determined the outcome of the game is not noteworthy. If you want to add information to show why he was considered a desirable draft pick, you could add analysis from draft experts from before the draft, like I did at Freddie Mitchell#Pre-draft. By the way, I would suggest you withhold from using his website as a reference, as it is clearly promotional in nature. Third-party references are usually preferred on Wikipedia articles.
