I'll be adding more, probably as well as filling in/correcting some of the dates on the page. Been busy though and you'll have to remind me if I forget :) --Stevemkk 20:41, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Artscene Articles - SAC - deviantART - Hi!

[edit]

Hey fellow Wikipedian/dA'ler  ;) . If I woun't know it better I would ask "Are you following me?", but then you could ask me the same question ;) Thanks for the input on the Superior art creations article. You are right and wrong. I tried to explain it at the Talk:Superior art creations Page. I added SAC to the "Warez groups" Category. Now is it assigned to where it should be.

It's nice that we connected here as well as at dA [1]. I planned to create an Article for "cHemical Reaction" - cRO here at Wikipedia. I collected already material directly from them and elsewhere. I will probably need some help. I will let you know, when it's time.

So long.. and see you around. If you have some "fights" with some other Wikipedians at articles that are not over-lapping with mine, let me know and I support you (if it makes sense). It is sometimes easier than just trying to argue by yourself against a "pack" of "RC Controllers". --roy<sac> Talk! .oOo. 04:46, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Applause

[edit]

I am humbled and awed to find that any human soul has peeled back the onion-layers of time and chosen to delve into Mistigris packs, of all things, whose contents a half-hour ago I would have bet any sum of money you could care to name that no human being alive on the planet other than myself would ever again lay eyes upon. Not only did you a) somehow remember our existence and b) somehow locate our onetime offerings, but c) you managed to make quite some flattering selections to represent us 8) (If it helps to make things 100% legit with Wikipedia's resident crew of lawyer-wannbes, I'm still in contact with the artists Quip and ts, and can get them to weigh in regarding Wikipedia's right to use the images.)

Before you go too whole-hog I feel the need to point out the parallel artscene wiki up at http://wiki.sixteencolors.net/index.php?title=Main_Page , which may eventually be acting as an index of old acheron content. Perhaps it can be used as a sandbox for artscene topics not-yet-notable-enough-for-Wikipedia 8)

Cheers. Cthulu aka Pseudo Intellectual 06:19, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Huh. Indeed, your gesture has inspired me to expand upon the Mistigris article, doubtlessly to its detriment. Cheers! Pseudo Intellectual

[edit]

I'm removing the "See also" sections you added for articles under Category:Artscene groups, with just a link to Category:Artscene groups. You shouldn't link to a category when the article's already in that category. Likewise, "See also" shouldn't include a generalization - i.e. you don't add "See also: Automobile" for Ford Mustang. --Vossanova o< 17:07, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Gpe-logo2.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Gpe-logo2.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 01:20, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Gpe-2.7-browser-sharp-zaurus-c1000.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Gpe-2.7-browser-sharp-zaurus-c1000.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:25, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Gpe-logo2.svg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 02:44, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited MindTouch, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages SAP and Wind River (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
