Move of Gaga article

Please use WP:RM (as was asked of you before) or find an admin if you are unable to move an article to its proper place. Born This Way is correct, no other articles with this title exist, and your chosen title (with "Lady GaGa album") had "Gaga" incorrectly formatted as "GaGa". I've moved it to the correct location, please fix all of the double-redirects you made. Also, can you point me to the discussion/consensus where it was decided that this can be moved out of the incubator into the mainspace? I wasn't able to find it, I just see your edit summary about the article graduating, but nothing about its assessment (see Wikipedia:Article Incubator). You also need to add the {{incu-grad}} template to its Talk Page if it is going to stay where it is. Thanks. - eo (talk) 21:09, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

I'll keep that in mind next time. Thanks :) PinkFunhouse13 (talk) 01:31, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
Just to clarify, the section of WP:RM to use if there is a redirect in the way is the technical requests section, not the discussion section. Alternatively, {{db-move}} can be added to the redirect to ask that it be deleted to allow the move. The discussion section is only to determine the correct title to be used, not to determine if an article is ready. Apteva (talk) 02:58, 2 July 2013 (UTC)

Born This Way from incubator

Please explain why you though 'Born this Way' was notable per WP:NALBUM to be moved from the article incubator, as it is soon to be moved back per consensus on the talk page. --Cprice1000talk2me 17:16, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

I thought that you've seen the the freaking album is going to come out, it IS confirmed, and shes been talking about the freaking thing since this time last year. Maybe for once you can get it in your thick heads that this page is going to exist eventually, and it has every right to now. Thanks for the waste of time. Oh, BTW, get a life. I do good, and ONLY good, thought over moves that seem essential or needed. Happy Freaking New Years!! PinkFunhouse13 (talk) 01:23, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
K I am just going to say something here. PinkFunhouse what's with the hostility? We are only trying to find out why this was taken out without consensus. I don't understand where you would have taken offense. I do understand your point of view though. Why put this in the incubator when it will probably created soon especially with the upcoming announcement Gaga is going to make on New Years? So lets talk about it more on the Born This Way talk page and hopefully we can all create and agreement and not jump down each other throats. =D Happy New Years!--Blackjacks101 (talk) 01:39, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, sometimes I feeled harrassed by some certain people. Sorry for the freak out :P and thank you for seeing my point of view! :D Have a happy New Years to you too!!! :) PinkFunhouse13 (talk) 01:45, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Whatever GaGa says has nothing to do with WP:NALBUMS. And FYI, this is the first time I've ever talked to you. You're confusing me with other users. :D --Cprice1000talk2me 02:26, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Please don't upload images like this ever again without discussing in the talk page. You are violating basic human dignity of BLP as well as the responsibility of Wikipedia to provide quality article. As it is you are being monitored by admins, and another upload or the above move like that, I will personally take you to ANI. You should know better than to toggle with these things now. — Legolas (talk2me) 10:33, 4 January 2011 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Ladygagashowstudiobornthisway.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Ladygagashowstudiobornthisway.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 15:48, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Gajsoundtrack.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Gajsoundtrack.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:06, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Stevieinthestudio2010.png

Thanks for uploading File:Stevieinthestudio2010.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Smilemean (talk) 06:54, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

oh land photo and the non-comercial license

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:OhLandChicagoLive.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because images on Wikipedia need to be compatible with the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike or another free license, which allow anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{cc-by-sa-3.0}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. Note, if you did create this file, you may want to upload it to Wikimedia Commons, which will allow the image to be accessed by all Wikimedia Foundation projects (which include the various localized versions of Wikipedia)

If you did not create this media file, please understand that the vast majority of images found on the internet are not appropriate for Wikipedia. Most content on the internet is copyrighted and the creator of the image has exclusive rights to use it. Wikipedia respects the copyrights of others - do not upload images that violate others' copyrights. In certain limited cases, we may be able to use an image under a claim of fair use - if you are certain that fair use would apply here, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list. If no fair use rationale applies, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Thorseth (talk) 21:12, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
Correction: you specified that it is licensed under a Creative Commons 2.0 Attribution license, but the source page on Flickr specifies that no derivatives may be created, and it must not be used for commercial purposes. Wikipedia only accepts CC licenses without these conditions. Feel free to post on my talk page if you have any questions. Regards, Jujutacular talk 01:55, 23 March 2011 (UTC)

Artpop

Articles about future albums are an extremely bad idea, and generally should never be created. If I had my choice, I would delete every single article about unreleased albums. Unfortunately, there are others that would create an article as soon as there's a rumour about an album. We've compromised on the rule shown at WP:HAMMER: if there's a confirmed tracklist and a confirmed release date, articles are generally kept. That was the specific consensus on this topic as well, as shown at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ARTPOP. Since ARTPOP still has no release date and no tracklist, the AFD result still holds.—Kww(talk) 16:58, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

"General release date" and "several tracks" is a long way from a confirmed release date and a track list. I agree that other articles have been improperly created in the past, but there's no reason to repeat bad events, especially after an AFD affirming that creating an article about ARTPOP is a bad idea.—Kww(talk) 18:06, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
Also note the feedback you got (at the very top of this talk page) when you created "Born This Way" and "Judas" too early.—Kww(talk) 18:11, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

Final note: I hadn't noticed that you prematurely attempted to bring this out of the incubator again. You've done this multiple times, and you get backlash every time. You were well aware of the previous AFD, seeing as you participated in it. You have to stop this. I'll seriously consider blocking you for disruption the next time it happens.—Kww(talk) 21:50, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

Ways to improve Artpop (album)

Hi, I'm Andrewman327. PinkFunhouse13, thanks for creating Artpop (album)!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Several of the citations in Artpop are not in Wikipedia style. I'm marking the page as reviewed but if you have time please fix this.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

References

Hi. I noticed that you've created The Electric Lady and have been adding references to it. However, you are not adding the references in with the proper formatting. With your edit to add a hidden tracklist (which I revealed) you set up your reference as <ref>[http://www.example.com http://www.example.com]. This is basically just you providing a raw URL as this markup produces the exact same result as <ref>http://www.example.com</ref>. When you add references, it is better to do so using the guidelines at WP:CITE and templates such as {{cite web}}. Just providing the URL will not help should the website be taken down at any point. It's better to have information on who wrote the page, the date the page was published, the name of the page, and the date you accessed the page. This would be done in the following manner: <ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.example.com|title=Web Page Name|author=Author Name|date=Date Page Published (if accessible)|accessdate=Current Date}}</ref>. So please, do not use the format you've set up previously as it is not beneficial to the project.—Ryulong (琉竜) 04:16, 3 July 2013 (UTC)

None of the statements you made in your edit summary are valid under Wikipedia's rules and guidelines. There is nothing that prevents us from using any album cover on any article just because there has not been an "official confirmation" from the artist. If reliable sources state that these are the covers, that is fine for Wikipedia. And even if the covers do change later on, then some can be removed or uploaded over the old ones. That's how wikis work.—Ryulong (琉竜) 18:44, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
