Just wanted to talk about your edits to John Gotti that I reverted. As far is I know, tv documentaries are not considered particularly reliable sources, and the section you wrote had quite a bit that didn't seem to concern Gotti himself. If you find another source (Tru TV's Crime Library is OK, but it doesn't have anything news articles and books already wrote and I personally think of it as a stopgap measure to satisfy BLP policies until something better is found) and trim it a bit, it would probably work.

Just trying to avoid discouraging you. As you can see, the American Cosa Nostra articles need all the help they can get. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 23:13, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

September 2011[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I edit Wikipedia too, under the username Marek69. I noticed that one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to English Defence League with this edit, appeared to be unconstructive, and I’ve reverted it. In the future, please use the sandbox for testing and be sure to provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Please feel free to ask me questions about editing Wikipedia (or anything else) on my talk page. Marek.69 talk 16:44, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Mount Vernon. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. --Chris (talk) 19:02, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
