Offering an olive branch

[edit]

I am sorry for whatever I have done to contribute the apparent mutual distrust between us. I think that we actually have similar goals for Speak (artist): to remove the mocking and foolish content and to replace it will well referenced, factual information. You may want to see the page gone all together; if that is so, the Articles for deletion process is your best bet. I think, though, that we both want to see the page include only factual information. I have attempted to add only information that is supported by third-party sources. I have further tried to address your concerns in the portions of the page I have re-written. I am going to refrain from editing the page pending a third-party opinion at Talk:Speak (artist)#Neutral Opinion.

Again, I'm sorry for the hard feelings and hope that I haven't done anything to insult you personally. Best, Cnilep (talk) 19:07, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a moment, would you mind replying to Matheuler's comments at Talk:Speak (artist)#Neutral Opinion? Thanks, Cnilep (talk) 17:32, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Potentially misleading edit summary

[edit]

Your edit summary for this edit is "minor tidy", and you marked it as a minor edit. Yet the edit removed an entire sentence and the reference that supported it. Was this an error, or do you really regard this as a minor edit? I plan to mention this at Talk:Speak (artist), since I disagree that this is either an improvement of the article or a minor change. I will wait a little while before I do, though, since many of the people who have edited the page in the past are only too eager to add flippant comments. I hope that your attempts to remove facetiousness, coupled with my (perhaps defensive) challenges don't backfire, leading to the re-introduction of sarcastic content. Please refrain from removing information for which sources are cited. Cnilep (talk) 21:57, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Concur

[edit]

The deletion program you have embarked upon at the aforementioned page appears to be inappropriate. I thank you for your contributions, however I must strongly encourage you to avoid edit warring against the majority/consensus viewpoint. Please bring up potential concerns on the article talk page. Best wishes, —Finn Casey  * * * 20:52, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Abce2|This isnot a test 21:41, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Eagle attack on Tomas Deak

Sorry for reverting your addition to Speak (artist); I wasn't sure if you intended it seriously. Please add a citation of a reliable source, such as a newspaper. Cnilep (talk) 01:05, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the sentence, pending the addition of a source. Please cite a reliable source if you re-add the information. Thanks, Cnilep (talk) 18:10, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
