Peer Review[edit]

  • I think your draft is off to a good start, but you need to fix a few small things.
  • I like how your ideas flow, and you maintain a neutral (non-biased) tone throughout the various additions
  • All information are relevant and good additions
  • However, you need to fix your citations (under the reflist), as sources 1 and 3 have an issue for "missing or empty title," and the 2nd source you cannot click on
  • There are a few small spelling/grammatical errors (ie some commas could be added towards the end sentences of the second bulleted addition, you use the phrase "domestic hydroponics" a little repetitiously, etc).
-ex: "Domestic hydroponics has also had beneficial results in the United States in states like Arizona and New Mexico where farming is not seen to be effective or efficient." Reworded idea for better flow could be something like: "In areas of the United States where farming is not as effective or efficient, domestic hydroponics have yielded beneficial results in certain states such as Arizona and New Mexico."
-ex: "In nation with diminishing land..." it should be nations (with an "s")
  • Overall, I think your draft is good! My main recommendation is to fix the sources, and to also close read to make the grammar a little better. I often make grammatical errors too, so I find it helpful to read what you've written out loud :)

Peer Review 2[edit]

- Everything in the article is definitely relevant to the article topic. I was not distracted by anything.

- The article for the most part is neutral but I found myself feeling like at times I was being persuaded of a fact. For example, where you talk about how hydroponics may be beneficial to countries where there isn't agricultural land available, I felt that a definitive statement would be more neutral.

- The viewpoints presented are all evenly represented!

- The links in the citations need to be touched up a little.

- Each fact is supported by an appropriate reference. However, I might suggest that you incorporate some primary literature or research!

- All the information is up to date!
