Regarding your comment[edit]
You should have at least a stub's worth of content or else it might be deleted. You don't have to hit save page right after you create the article; you can take as long as you like. You should also tag the article as a stub before you hit save page, see WP:STUBS for a list of stub templates you can put on an article. Sorry for any misunderstanding!
