  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Disambiguation link notification for October 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mighty Bomb Jack, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Arcade. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:08, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:56, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Distribution of FOX television programs...[edit]

Disney does not distribute FOX produced programs, even though Disney owns FOX programs produced by FOX are distributed exclusively by 20th Television. I've reverted your edits. Please do not change the information for any FOX program to Disney Domestic Television Distribution or any other Disney entity other than 20th Television, to do so is considered to be vandalism. February 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Family Guy, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 16:32, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from adding, removing or changing genres, as you did to South Park, without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. QuestFour (talk) 02:45, 22 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The genre of the show is already stated in the infobox, I added it since it was already stated in the article. STB (talk) 04:06, 22 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I only add stuff if it’s already in the article itself or it’s properly sourced; please read the rules (such as Template:Infobox television#Parameters) carefully if you want to add or remove stuff. STB (talk) 04:15, 22 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at South Park, you may be blocked from editing. QuestFour (talk) 08:28, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The MTV edit is sourced, I've been attempting discussion with u but u didnt reply. Try not to change the article just because u feel like it; I was changing it back to its initial state while giving stronger evidence. STB (talk) 08:33, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your history of edit warring and toxic behavior does not also justify ur persistent reverts; just explain ur points and get this over with in private. STB (talk) 08:40, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Spiralthebandicoot. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Primary prevention of child sexual abuse, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Page title is a plausible redirect, or it does not substantially duplicate the other topic. Thank you. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 15:44, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop filing bad WP:SD requests, WP is not a battlefield[edit]

I know that the term primary prevention of CSA might seem to have little notability to those who are strange to the topic and people who think Google News is the only search engine for reliable secondary sources for Wikipedia, but the topic is indeed widely discussed in secondary, reliable sources on online newspapers and secondary academic sources and thus does qualify for WP:NOTABILITY. Anynone who heard of Finkelhor (if you don't know who he is, please don't do edit child sexual abuse-related articles ever again) unevitably knows of primary prevention, it's an obvious and recognizable term for anyone who has studied sexual abuse in the last ten years and it has been popularized even far beyond academic circles now. Just because you somehow failed to see a results when simplisticly putting "Primary prevention of child sexual abuse" on Google News (because even Google News show plently of articles about that), that does not in any way mean that the topic "has next to no notability".

And no (I've seen your denied request for speedy deletion) primary prevention of child sexual abuse is obviously not a "copy" of Child sexual abuse. Do not rudely criticize other people's writting skills if you yourself have provenly failed to interpret WP:A10. If you think there is a serious problem with the article, please be constructive and use respectful language, only then people will start listening to you (Wikipedia:Civility). I can only assume, due to your disrespectful conduct, that either you are either in a very bad mood today or you're just someone who has had a grudge against me because of something of the past (which I have no idea of). And judging by your talk page, it doesn't seem to be the first time that you get into fight with other Wikipedians about trivial things that could be discussed in a civilized manner. What you did was not only against Wikipedia:Code of conduct, you actively went out of your way to silently attempt to delete an article under a false pretense, when you knew the proper steps to take would be to talk to other Wikipedians (including its author) about your concerns. Please keep in mind that you are not Kim Jong Un, you are not above WP's general guidelines. Please TALK to other people before attempting to make major decisions. 🔥 22spears 🔥 17:51, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It is a proposed speedy deletion not a true deletion, it does not matter if the template is removed; STB (talk) 23:17, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
But the reason your article is flagged for proposed deletion is because the article lacks the professionalism of a usual article; please think it through whether or not to write it or have some more editing experience before you write an article; if you cannot write an article of acceptable standard it may be proposed for deletion yet again. Just a reminder from a fellow Wikipedian. STB (talk) 23:20, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@22spears apparently it was u who was making wikipedia a battlefield, creeps are not allowed in this site STB (talk) 06:07, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

OK, the point about the miniseries not being "season 1" is fair, so I have partly restored your edit. But we never "double-list" episodes in episodes tables, and there was zero reason to fiddle with the ref dates format (WP:CITEVAR), so those edits were not restored for obvious reasons. --IJBall (contribstalk) 13:54, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@IJBall I can accept the dates format reverted, but can’t the miniseries part be at least reverted? Or is listing BOTH Fox Kids date and ABC date acceptable to you? STB (talk) 13:56, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's mentioned in prose, above the season 1 table, that ABC reaired the miniseries, before airing new episodes – so it is not ignored. It also matches how {{Epguides}} handles the series (I've add this as an 'External link'). A {{series overview}} table might also be a good idea at this article. If I have time today, I will try an add one. --IJBall (contribstalk) 14:01, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Step Up Revolution. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:04, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text at the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:20, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've indefinitely blocked you because I can't tell whether your edits are incompetence or hoaxes/vandalism. Your edit summaries seem deliberately misleading, and they change sourced content to things not found in the cited sourced. For example, in this edit, you moved Dreamworks Pictures from being a distributor, which is what the source says, into being a production company. Most of your edits are like that, labeled as "copy edit". NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:24, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Copy edit[edit]

Probably doesn't matter much because you're blocked, but Toonami is a small programming block and should not be placed over Adult Swim in the Samurai Jack infoboxes. Thank you. GalaxyFighter55 (talk) 02:27, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
