Nile Street

[edit]

Hi, Your sandbox version of Nile street is looking good on a quick scan - I will have a more detailed look when I'm back in the UK but currently in South Africa on expensive minutes of internet access - keep up the good work.— Rod talk 06:12, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've now found a bit of time during the conference (& free Internet connection) so have taken another look. I think it is fine - apart from "currently" with note 3. This is discouraged because of the need for updating. Otherwise I think you could move it from your sandbox to article space & I would also suggest nominating it at Template talk:Did you know.— Rod talk 10:05, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguating John Pinch

[edit]

Hi again, You obviously have some good sources on Bath architecture & I wonder if I can ask for some help. John Pinch has recently been turned into a dab page and the elder & younger architects given their own articles. Along with others we have sorted the links on loads of articles to one or the other, however there are some which it is not clear from my sources whether these should be credited to the elder or younger Pinch. Can you help?— Rod talk 12:39, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for sorting these. I can only see one outstanding & that is on Grade I listed buildings in Bath and North East Somerset where the Church of St Paul at Prior Park College is credited to John Pinch and Scoles and Son - do you know if that should be elder or younger?— Rod talk 17:03, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The Images of England Ref used discusses Pinch in the last sentence about wings which I think is where the confusion has arisen. Shall I remove Pinch from that entry in the list?— Rod talk 17:33, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WP Somerset in the Signpost

[edit]

Copied from my talk page & the project talk page to ensure wide coverage.

"WikiProject Report" would like to focus on WikiProject Somerset for a Signpost article. This is an excellent opportunity to draw attention to your efforts and attract new members to the project. Would you be willing to participate in an interview? If so, here are the questions for the interview. Just add your response below each question and feel free to skip any questions that you don't feel comfortable answering. Other editors will also have an opportunity to respond to the interview questions. If you know anyone else who would like to participate in the interview, please share this with them. Have a great day.— Rod talk 07:46, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
