Speedy deletion of Mic Neumann

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Mic Neumann, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion of Mic neumann

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Mic neumann, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

The article Kung Faux has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I cannot find any reliable sources about this show, I can find some directory listings but that's it. Fails WP:V and GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thank you for uploading File:KITES THE REMIX-poster-FINAL.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Skier Dude (talk 06:44, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Kung Faux, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kung Faux. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Kindzmarauli (talk) 18:22, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

hangon

[edit]

Hangon tags are to dispute speedy deletion requests. These articles aren't at risk of being deleted by that process. Follow the links in the AFD deletion tags to find and contribute to the discussions. --OnoremDil 02:58, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop with the {{hangon}} tags. Again, they do not apply to this process. In the template talking about deletion, there should be a link for the words 'this article's entry' that leads to the deletion discussion for each article. Hangon tags are not meant to be used on articles unless they are tagged for speedy deletion. These aren't. --OnoremDil 03:14, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if you're getting these messages. I'm guessing you aren't, since you continue to stick 'hangon' tags where they don't belong. There are different processes on Wikipedia to delete an article. One type is speedy deletion. 'hangon' tags are only used on articles tagged for speedy deletion. They don't apply to any other deletion process. Your articles are not currently tagged for speedy deletion. They are tagged as 'Articles for Deletion' which provides a forum for discussion about whether or not the article should remain. --OnoremDil 04:33, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Squeezedot for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Cameron Scott (talk) 18:20, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
