September 2016[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that in this edit to Ricky Ponting, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 04:23, 20 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Virender Sehwag. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Jim1138 (talk) 05:04, 20 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You need to wp:cite a wp:reliable source per wp:verifiability. Use of your own knowledge is considered wp:original research (OR) and is not verifiable. Per OR: Wikipedia articles must not contain original research. Please see help:referencing for beginners and help:footnotes for info on adding references.
