Welcome![edit]

Hello, StarsCrying, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like it here! Here are a few important links for newcomers:

Wikipedia:Reliable sources, Wikipedia:CITE, WP:V and WP:N

Manual of Style; Writing better articles
The five pillars of Wikipedia
Editing by consensus – working well with other Wikipedians

As I think you've already figured out, you can sign your name on Talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. It is a good idea to read the most recent entries at the bottom of the Talk page of an existing article before making major changes to it, to see if your proposed change has been discussed before. Before I make a major change to an article, I often make a proposal on the Talk page to see if anyone minds.

Again, Welcome! -- Ssilvers (talk) 23:08, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

So wassup?[edit]

This is StarsCrying, I am very interested in learning the rules of Wikipedia! I would like to know all the do's and dont's of wikipedia as well. Please, please explain everything to me! I am on Wikipedia permanently, so please tell me all there is to know, plus more if available!

Thanks for your message. Yes, I'd be happy to be your mentor. Please start by reading WP:V and WP:N, and then send me a message on my Talk page (or post here) with any questions, and also let me know if there are any particular articles that you want to begin working on. Happy editing! -- Ssilvers (talk) 23:08, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Watchlist[edit]

If you click on the little star tab at the top of any article, the article (and its Talk page) get added to your Watchlist. Then, whenever anyone edits that article, it will show up on your watchlist and alert you to the fact that someone made a change. You should only watchlist the articles that you want to keep an eye on in the future. You can remove an article from your watchlist by clicking on the star tab again. -- Ssilvers (talk) 00:07, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Government links, etc[edit]

If I understand what you are asking me, I think the answer is yes. Do it, and then let me know, and I'll look at it to see. I'll be away from the computer for the rest of the day, though. Happy editing! -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:32, 13 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
