Hello, Startupindia. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, AWK Solutions, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 20:47, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Contesting against deletion[edit]

I would like to contest this deletion on the below grounds.If this article is very promotional in nature, then how come the below articles are still available in wiki without any deletion or proposed deletion. Most of the below mentioned articles have external references, that is not relevant at all.

Most of them are solution provider, but they still exists here

     a) Cashkaro.com
     b) Buyhatke
     c) Mysmartprice
     d) Abhibus.com
     e) Cardback
     f) Amrita Learning
     g) Quikr

Please help me understand why this selective approach for proposed deletion in case of my article ? Where as many other are published without any problem. If you want i can give you more examples like that. --Startupindia (talk) 12:47, 11 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Two wrongs don't make a right, so that argument doesn't work. If those articles are just self-promotional they should also be deleted. --OpenFuture (talk) 09:03, 18 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

December 2016[edit]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Comparison shopping website. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 11:48, 20 December 2016 (UTC

Hello bonadea The site reference that i have added is not a spam. The company is having the most updated & advanced price aggregator script, which has multiple features that are not available in any other solutions. If we are discussing about shopping comparison, then this website (AWK Solutions) deserves a mention on it, as the solution, developed by them, are till date, the most preferred solution in this segment and currently more than 35 website across the globe are using their comparison solution.

No. Non-notable companies should not be used as examples (and the company has been determined not to meet Wikipedia's guidelines for notability, in a community discussion), external links that do not meet WP:ELNO should not be used as references (see WP:REFSPAM), and this post of yours is in fact an example of the kind of promotional language that does not belong anywhere on Wikipedia. --bonadea contributions talk 10:57, 23 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Startupindia. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 10:58, 23 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

February 2017[edit]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Comparison shopping website. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. bonadea contributions talk 18:57, 11 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
