Please help me with... hi there! Happy Monday :) I wondered if I could get some help in editing a Biography that is listed here. I am afraid that someone has poorly sourced information you have for Robert Teitel and I would like to add some insightful details about Robert Teitel but also remove some libelous information posted. Please help with this as Robert Teitel has worked his entire life to be a kind human who makes impactful movies. He is also a father of 3 incredibly empathetic children who are also doing wonderful things for this work. Please let mw know how I can have this erroneous information about Robert Teitel being accused by a woman. This is false and not only hurtful but harmful to his family. StateStreet6 (talk) 20:55, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- I don't see any such content in the article, can you identify the specific problematic content? The content you attempted to add was not sourced. 331dot (talk) 21:18, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- Looks like it was removed. 331dot (talk) 21:20, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) There are instructions at WP:LIBEL for dealing with libel of living people on Wikipedia. It does appear, however, that the edit mentioning sexual assault was unsourced, and has since been reverted. Thanks, TGHL ↗ 21:28, 17 May 2021 (UTC)

thank you for your help. It looks like it was removed. Someone wrote something completely false and unfavorable about Robert Teitel. It included a woman Tiffany FitHenry had accused him of something, Is that information that was given to you by her directly? Also How do I add important information on Robert Teitel Biography? Thank you so very much for your assistance in this matter. :) StateStreet6 (talk) 21:25, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- Simply click "edit"! Remember to cite your sources. What information are you planning on adding? TGHL ↗ 21:30, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- The information was added by an IP address, there is no way to know who was sitting at the computer on that IP address. 331dot (talk) 21:39, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
I wanted to add ... where he was born and raised, the name of his children and current projects — Preceding unsigned comment added by StateStreet6 (talk • contribs) 21:40, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- You need an independent reliable source with that information, although the names of minor children are not added to articles unless they merit articles themselves. Please respond to the concern about your username. 331dot (talk) 21:43, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- Ok will address user name now. When including information on Biography do i need to state the article date of publication ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by StateStreet6 (talk • contribs) 23:50, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry about the confusion earlier: I did not add the edits you mentioned to the page. You'll need to include as much information as is useful for readers within the

tags. For news articles, author first and last names, article title, newspaper title, publication date, and the URL and access date (if applicable) are all considered standard in citations – see Wikipedia:Citing sources.
