Almshouse photo[edit]

Hi. I forget how I got there, but I saw the alsmhouse photo in an article and thought "that's dark, I can fix that" and proceeded to do so. What do you think? Hopefully the image has been updated, it still looks like the previous version to me. --Sirimiri 15:08, 21 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

A New Forest pony[edit]

Hi! I am proposing to remove your picture (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a9/050103_2283_hants_pony.jpg) of a New Forest pony from the Wikipedia article about the New Forest breed of ponies, because it does not correspond to the specific description for that breed. The pony on your picture does in fact look more like a Shetland pony! I suggest you re-tag it on the Commons too. It's a lovely piece of Hampshire scenery, though! Please don't take offense, but since we are in the business of enlightening people, I thought I'd seize the opportunity to correct misleading info.
