May 2010[edit]

Your addition to Jacques d'Azur has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. You might also need to read the reliable sources guidelines and the notability criteria before starting an article on this subject. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:52, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning[edit]

Continuing to load copyrighted material onto Wikipedia will result in a block. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:53, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WHY? talk

Because publishing copyrighted material is against the law- and Wikipedia can't permit you do break the law while using Wikipedia. Also, what you published isn't really an encyclopedia article, and I couldn't tell from what you copied whether the subject meets the notability criteria, since you didn't cite any sources. Writing an encyclopedia article is entirely different from writing a self-promotional autobiography. If this is a notable person, and he is written about in reliable, independent sources, we'd love to have an article about him- are you interested in writing one? -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:57, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

We really can't allow you to publish other people's copyrighted material on Wikipedia; it's against the law. Because you did it again after my two warnings, I have no choice but to block you. I think you just don't understand the rules, so I made it a short block, but make sure you understand the rules before editing again when it expires. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:59, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
