Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you.

Request reason:

The username I usually go by on the internet, Stevwood, was already taken. As I did not want something such as StevenWoodward247 (my name is a common name) I chose to go by the username I use on YouTube. I have used this on other sites too, whenever Stevwood is taken. I am not a group or organisation, but a single man. I am hoping this clears up the confusion and would prefer an unblocking without a name change, however if a new one is mandatory I guess I'll have to comply. Apologies, StevwoodProductions (talk) 07:20, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. Please see below. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 15:04, 19 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

We don't permit accounts which so much as imply shared use, and sadly "StevwoodProductions" does just that. "StevenWoodward" and "Steven Woodward" (We do allow spaces in usernames) are not taken, by the by, though we generally caution about the pros and cons of using one's legal name before they go thru with it.
To request an unblock to change your name, use {{unblock-un|<new username>|<optional reason>}}. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 09:28, 16 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies, when making the account I simply assumed StevenWoodward & Steven Woodward would have been taken, I have read the info about using real names and have chosen to accept the cons. I hope my username does not bring you any further annoyance :p StevwoodProductions (talk) 16:51, 16 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

See below. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience, but a selection of another name is necessary. An unblock thereafter should not be a problem. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 15:04, 19 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I stand corrected. Steven Woodward *is* taken and has edits. (That'll teach me to just rely on the lack of a userpage for availability). Sorry, you were right; could you think of a new username? —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 21:14, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

If this username is acceptable then I'm totally fine with it. If it counts as trying to disguise myself as the user Stevwood, then I could add a brief explanation of the situation in my user page if that's acceptable. I do hope my username after this is no longer any trouble for your team, I know it's just a username and you most likely have more important things to deal with on here but I thank you for valuing me as one of Wikipedia's many members. :) StevwoodProductions (talk) 05:43, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Hmm... the problem there is that the Wikipedia software interprets the underscore character as a space, creating confusion with an existing username "Stevwood". It would be like having a name with a trailing space, which may not be possible for a bureaucrat to create for you. Please try a few experiments at Special:ListUsers. I note, for example, that "S. Woodward" is not taken, and neither is SteveWoodward or StevenWoodward (without spaces). Happy to unblock after you found one that works for you. ~Amatulić (talk) 17:56, 26 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
We are really not being difficult; as soon as you choose an appropriate name I, or any of a number of admins, will happily unblock you. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 18:32, 26 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
