Sex Panther Radio[edit]

Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article SexPanther Radio may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers. On Wikipedia, all users are entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable, with reference to reliable published sources. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. -- Longhair\talk 01:12, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not affiliated with SexPanter Radio in anyway, so it would be inappropriate to list it on my user page. However, the radio show is sufficiently well-known to the community of Christopher Newport University and published in local media. -- Stingray23464 01:12, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've placed the {{primarysources}} notice onto the article, requesting cites for this local media attention. Please don't remove this notice without address the concerns the notice raises. -- Longhair\talk 02:29, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've placed the Captain's Log Website (official newspaper of CNU) along with the WCNU (website). This, along with reserach done on campus is where the information was gathered from. -- Stingray23464

CNU[edit]

Are you a CNU alum or a current student there? I am going to guess you are in KDR. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 13:41, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Current Student. Yeah, I'm a KDR -- Stingray23464 13:51, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What year? I graduated from there last year. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 13:58, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Class of 2010. What was your major? -- Stingray23464
Information Science with a minor in business. I was also a SigEp. You must have just recently joined KDR (i.e. the rush that just ended) I am guessing? I may be wrong. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 14:02, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I'm in the pledge process right now. -- Stingray23464
Good luck with that! -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 14:46, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Stingray23464

I cant do it from where I currently am because it blocks it. I will check it out later though and let you know. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 15:06, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is it blocked because of the "primary source" tag? -- Stingray23464
No, it is blocked because of where I am editing from and the filter blocks anything with the word sex in the url. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 14:21, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok... that makes sense thanks. -- Stingray23464

Changing names[edit]

You cannot directly change the name of an article. You can however move it. There should be a move tab at the top of the page. Type in the new page name and you are good. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 13:44, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I see it now... thanks for the help! -- Stingray23464

Fair use image in userspace[edit]

I removed Image:patriot logo.gif from your user page. THis is a copyright image, most likley used on wikipedia under as a fair use image. In these situations, fair use does not apply to your userpage. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 13:29, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was unaware... thank you. -- Stingray23464
No problem at all! -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 15:10, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Wav_logo.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Wav_logo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
