Notes[edit]

Hi! I have some notes on your draft:

  • The content about the films needs to be attributed to the person making the claims in the sources. It looks like this was all drawn from the sources rather than it being a personal interpretation, so fixing it for attribution is all that was needed here. I've gone ahead and done that for you.
  • You've done a good job with finding sources - I know that this isn't always easy to do when writing about someone in another language.

To be honest, that's all I really have - I think that you've done a good job here and this is ready to move live, if you wanted. I've done a little formatting, so you could copy and paste this without worrying about messing up any formatting in the live version. Let me know if you need any help moving this live. • I also tried adding an image to the film section of Pan Yuliang, but you can remove this if you like. I just wanted to add it to give the page a splash of color since there's no usable (ie, non-copyrighted) image of Huang. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:20, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the feedback! Stormont458 (talk) 20:00, 5 November 2019 (UTC)Stormont458[reply]

Huang Shuqin[edit]

Ready for mainspace.

  • Great work on your article, and congrats on moving it to mainspace! It looks great.
  • Some ways it might be improved even further: Do any of your sources talk about the overarching themes in her work, linking her films together? If so, that information could be added under the Career section.
  • Also, since you mention her impact as a filmmaker in the film-specific sub-sections, it may be appropriate to add a Legacy or Impact section to cite some of those discussions about her importance. This can be tricky to write without making it sound promotional, but it can really support the filmmaker's notability, and you've done a great job maintaining a neutral point of view in the rest of your text!
