  1. Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia, as you did in Leadership . Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links as long as the content abides by our policies and guidelines. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. Kuru talk 02:23, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Please stop adding commercial or personal-website links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. Kuru talk 12:24, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Please stop. If you continue to use Wikipedia for advertising, you will be blocked from editing. Dancter 18:01, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  4. This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. Dancter 19:54, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  5. Though normally after the last message above you would be reported and subject to block, I am refraining from reporting for now and instead leaving this message. Personal blogs are not reliable sources, especially when the content is unsourced opinion. As now 3 separate editors have removed the link from the article, the consensus is now against the link, and further inclusion will be considered spamming and subject to block without further warning. Stop adding the link to the article. You have 3 options at this point: 1) Continue to add the link and eventually be blocked. 2) Mention the link on the article's talk page, and allow other editors to discuss it. 3) Stop adding the link altogether. The choice is yours. --AbsolutDan (talk) 23:56, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removing warnings

[edit]

Please do not remove legitimate warnings from your talk page or replace them with inappropriate content. Removing or maliciously altering warnings from your talk page will not remove them from the page history. You're welcome to archive your talk page, but be sure to provide a link to any deleted legitimate comments. If you continue to remove or vandalize legitimate warnings from your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. --AbsolutDan (talk) 23:47, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

3RR

[edit]

Furthermore, by re-inserting the same change multiple times, you are violating the WP:3RR rule. Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing in Leadership. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. --AbsolutDan (talk) 23:59, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
