August 2010
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but in this recent edit you removed a speedy deletion tag from Melodic.net, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. L Kensington (talk • contribs) 22:12, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry. I'll do it.--Strawberry Slugs (talk) 22:21, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with this edit to Kludge (magazine). Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. L Kensington (talk • contribs) 23:14, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- The article meet the WP:WEB. I don't understand why it is considered for speedy deletion.--Strawberry Slugs (talk) 23:21, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- Please stop vandalizing articles. --John (talk) 04:26, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- If you continue to place links and create articles for online magazines, while continuing to fail to provide proper reliable sources unaffiliated with the subjects to demonstrate notability, it will result in a block from editing. For clarity's sake, Alexa ranking, someone being a "professional critic", or supposedly being called a "leading" site by a .se site that will not even resolve does not show or indicate notability. Only reliable, third-party coverage demonstrates notability. Please ensure you have appropriate and in-depth sources in hand before you start another article. If you need help evaluating whether sources are appropriate, I'll be happy to help you do so. On the other hand, if you're here to promote any of these sites, please note that we strictly prohibit any such activity. Seraphimblade Talk to me 05:01, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia! Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Nicolas Sarkozy, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --IllaZilla (talk) 07:02, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Kludge (magazine)
[edit]A tag has been placed on Kludge (magazine) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. - You know, I could have sworn this article was deleted already, yet you reinstated it again. L Kensington (talk • contribs) 20:33, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you create an inappropriate page, such as Kludge (magazine), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Apparently you didn't get the message, but reinstating your article once it has been deleted by an administrator Seraphimblade Talk to me AND you were clearly warned about creating these types of pages before is malicious. This is your final warning. L Kensington (talk • contribs) 20:45, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- Inappropriate page, yes, really inappropriate.--Strawberry Slugs (talk) 00:36, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) It was. Strawberry Slugs, please don't recreate deleted articles without addressing the reasons why they were deleted in the first place. Continuing to do so will likely result in the title being salted. Instead, I recommend working on the article in a user subpage (such as User:Strawberry Slugs/Kludge (magazine). Try to find reliable secondary sources which cover the topic, in order to verify its notability. Then you can submit your fleshed-out article to Articles for creation. --IllaZilla (talk) 20:56, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
The article Kludge (magazine) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Does not meet notability Criteria, or assert its notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. L Kensington (talk • contribs) 21:42, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Review site
[edit]I reverted your edit to Room for Squares article. The review site you proposed is notable/professional should be brought up first at the talk page for either WP:Albums or WP:ALBUM/REVSIT first. Thats how sites are checked and included/recognized as notable/professional on Wikipedia. Dan56 (talk) 19:31, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Fresh Start Fever, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Prospect Park. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Orphaned non-free image File:Kludge Magazine.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Kludge Magazine.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:36, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
