Platform 1 at Toddington railway station in 2008

Toddington railway station is a railway station serving the village of Toddington in Gloucestershire, England. It is the main base of operations for the heritage Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.

It is located on the former Cheltenham to Stratford-upon-Avon line, which was opened by the Great Western Railway in 1906. The station was closed in the mid-1960s and the line itself remained open until 1976.The line was closed after the derailment of a coal train. The track was later lifted in 1979.In 1981 the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway moved in to relay track and restore the station.

The station reopened by the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway in 1984, with trains operating along a short distance of track. By 2003, the line had been extended south to Cheltenham Racecourse. In late-2005, a start was made to relay track over the Stanway Viaduct and then north towards Broadway. It is hoped by the end of 2009 there will be regular trains to laverton halt, and trains to broadway in 2010\11.This strech of track has been Themite welded for reduced maintenance .
