Kathlyn Williams[edit]

  • Thanks for uncovering all that information on Kathlyn. Damn, she did a great job of covering her past. In covering her movies & photographs over the years I always thought she was a lot more mature than for someone in their early 20s. Always she looked too mature looking. Much photos of her in Daniel Blum's 1953 book "Pictorial History of the Silent Screen". Much kudos to you thanks again. Koplimek (talk) 18:11, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much. I do research all the time, and I love to solve mysteries too. I am still trying to find out more information on her. Stutzey (talk) 19:47, 15 May 2009 (UTC)Stutzey[reply]

I just wanted to check back with you on this article. Did you have a question for me?

--Kumioko (talk) 02:30, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, do you know how to do references from newspapers? I don't think I did it properly. I can research rather well, but the formatting has me all confused.[[Special:ContributionsStutzey (talk) 20:05, 5 November 2010 (UTC)|talk]]) 20:04, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. Thanks for expanding the article :) Pinkadelica 13:59, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Peggy Shannon[edit]

If you just give me the census information, I'll add it as a reference to the article myself because what you added removed content and wasn't cited properly. Plus, the mention of her other birthdates probably needs to stay as inevitably, someone will look at the article, look at her entry at Find-a-Grave and ask why Wikipedia has a different birthdate, yada, yada, yada. Pinkadelica 02:05, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. See what you can do with the Census information that I sent you. Ancestry.com will not let me get the actual copies of the Censuses. I will see what I can do on getting that material. What are you actually allowed to edit in Wikipedia articles? If the information is incorrect, a person cannot actually remove it at all? Stutzey (talk) 13:41, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 21:58, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Sorry[edit]

No worries. In retrospect, I can see how my comment seemed a tad accusatory but I certainly didn't mean it to be which is why I wanted to make that clear. If I came off as pissy, I do apologize. If there are certain articles on silent film stars you have sources and want to add citations to, I'll be happy to help. Silent film star articles are sorely neglected and it's difficult to find anyone who wants to work on them so your help and expertise are greatly appreciated. Alternatively, you can go to "My Preferences" - "Gadgets" and add the nifty "refTools" app that can help you format citations properly. That's what I use as it's simple (I'm so not a techie and most apps confuse me!) and basically foolproof. Pinkadelica 04:40, 12 October 2010 (UTC) Thanks for the tip. You were only trying to be helpful and to make sure the article followed Wikipedia guidelines. I am definitely in need of learning how to cite references properly.:)Stutzey (talk) 21:28, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
