Account blocked because of promotional use[edit]

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

Request reason:

we are a school and created a page for school. i dont understand how its advertising ?? i created a page for people information. I created same user name as school name .. is this a problem ?? please make me clear the exact problem. There are many pages with institution names .. are they all illegal ????

Decline reason:

OK, firstly, Wikipedia does not allow accounts that appear to represent companies, groups or organizations, so an account called "Stxaviersworldschool" is unacceptable and will need to be renamed according to the instructions in the block message.

Next, your use of "we" suggests this is indeed a group account, so you would need to make it clear that after renaming to something more suitable the account would be used by only one person.

Finally, the promotional problem is not the mere existence of an article about the school, but that it was written using blatantly promotional language...
