Manto's nationality

[edit]

Manto was born and spent all his life in the undivided India except the last 7 years which he spent in Pakistan where he migrated after partition. So should we really call him a "Pakistani" outright? I believe one can't ignore the fact where he spent the larger part of his life. Instead of the simplistic "Pakistani", one can use the more specific "Indian (pre-partition); Pakistani (post-partition)." Sumnas (talk) 18:18, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You are right Sumnas. But we need sources for this claim. You can put this details after giving reliable source. Best. --Gazal world (talk) 18:25, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
