Hi, thanks for your message from a couple of days ago. I wasn't very clear with my note on the WP:football talk page! I suppose there were two things that crossed my mind with this article on Wing Forward. One was that the author (Destiny999) had put virtually the same text in Midfielder a couple of months ago and unless the new article could be built up into something much more substantial, it would just be duplicating the text in Midfielder; I didn't think there was much hope of that. Secondly, he seemed to be describing a winger, which is adequately covered in Striker so there wasn't really a need for the article in my view. I see you have 'boldly' sorted it all out anyway! the badge .. on the golden layout there is written: San Marino Calcio and a latin sentence: Titanus aggressurus Olympum, referring to Titans mythology. The central figure is a Titan, the greek mytholohy race (in italian "Titan" means that race and the Mount Titano, the mount of the Republic). The two rounds represents the Tre Penne's badge (San Marino Calcio was founded by Tre Penne and Libertas) and the old San Marino Calcio's badge. I've done what I can with the article. It was declined because of the 2 tags remaining on the article, the NPOV tag and the reference tag. There are some statements that you need to reference—I've marked some with a {{fact}} tag— and you really need to keep it neutral, some parts read like a hagiography. I think you could use it at the moment, yes. I think it is a bit close to WP:OR, though not really. It would be better to find a source written specifically about the history of the club's colours. Thank you for your support in my RfA. It was definitely a dramatic debate, that landed on WP:100! I paid close attention to everything that was said, and, where possible, I will try to incorporate the (constructive) criticism towards being a better administrator. I'm taking things slowly for now, partially because of the holidays and all the off-wiki distractions. :) I'm also working my way through the Wikipedia:New admin school and double-checking the relevant policies, and will gradually phase into the use of the new tools. My main goals are to help out with various backlogs, but I also fully intend to keep on writing articles, as there are several more that I definitely want to get to WP:FA status! Hey there. I'm not sure Donoghue is ready for GA yet by some way. There's a dispute over the neutrality of one section, and the U-18 section is simply a match report which isn't really about Donoghue at all. Perhaps if you sort out the tags, deal with the NPOV template and revise the U-18 section then give me (or anyone else at WP:FOOTBALL) a shout to see where to go next. Dear Sunderland06, my sincere thanks for your support in my second request for adminship, which ended with 113 supports, 11 opposes, and 4 neutral. I would especially like to thank my admin coach and nominator, Rlevse and Ryan Postlethwaite who in addition to Ioeth all inspired me to run for a second candidacy. I would also like to make a special mention to Phoenix-wiki, Dihyrdogen Monoxide and OhanaUnited who all offered to do co-nominations, but I unfortunately had to decline. I had all these funny ideas that it would fail again, and I was prepared for the worst, but at least it showed that the community really does have something other places don't. Who would have though Gmail would have been so effective? 32 emails in one week!
