Assalamu alaikum, Please brother, stay calm and don't spew anti Wahabi vitriol. I personally have had trouble with defending some articles from salafi/wahabi editors but accusations don't really help. I don't really think Itaqillah's edits compromised the NPOV of Barelwi. Do you? I think the fact that the two parties (Barelwis and Deobandis) both have accused each other of deviations and sometimes Kufr. That's worth mentioning. What do you think? --Nkv 18:33, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

First it is important to understand that a fatwa saying that somebody has committed an act of kufr is not the same as fatwa of kufr. The first type of fatwa is give on someone's unintentional but gross mistake or gross misconception e.g. Barelwi think the act of what they see as disrespect of Deobandies towards the Prophet is kufr; the Deobandies think the act of what they see as out of bound respect for the Saints as kufr. They do not call each other kafirs and actually pray behind each other. Both are Muslim, Sunni, Hanafi, and Sufi. However at a lower level there are fatwas coming out of ignorance which are denounced at higher level.

The Wahhabi ideology is to declare non-wahhabies kafir. You can see that ideology at work in Nishtar park where a couple of suicide bombers killed 72 people celebrating Prophet's birthday and they killed them during the Maghrib prayers. Before that another couple blew the Imam Bari Shrine killing dozens of people reciting quran. Allama Hassan Turabi, the leading proponent of Shia-Sunni harmony was killed by an 18 year old suicide bomber who was a student of a Saudi funded madrissa. Iraq situation is known to the whole world. During the occupation of Hejaz, Al-Saud and wahhabies killed approximately 70,000 people which is recorded in history books.

I know that but that doesn't mean that every editor who's coming to wikipedia is hell bent destroying article NPOV. Let's assume good faith, provide references for what we say and constructively edit articles. That I think will contribute more than rage. What do you think?--Nkv 19:38, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In short, the fatwas of Deobandies and Barelwies are stupidity, ignorance, and acts of individuals. The fatwas of Wahhabies are integral part of their faith, and malice. They are not the same. Wassalam SunniPride 18:58, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No nonsense hitter

I only add information that is referenced from reliable sources. Unless you were on Mars, you'd have known that both bowlers were banned for 1-2 years for drug abuse. I merely added that and even a ex-Pak captain has himself stated that the team's chances will suffer in the 2007 World Cup.
