February 2023[edit]

Information icon Hi SurajMal sir! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Tomar clan several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Tomar clan, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Packer&Tracker (talk ♀) 10:17, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Packer&Tracker, there has been no such edit warring that we should consider dispute resolution options. I have restored the Jat clan along with an additonal source. They are WP:RS. SurajMal sir (talk) 01:54, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary sanctions[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in South Asian social groups. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Request reason:

Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 103.48.197.219. Due to this, I am unable to make edits to Wikepedia. Someone please help and remove this existing block. SurajMal sir (talk) 01:27, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

That IP is a P2P VPN. It will need to be turned off and your browser cache cleared before you edit; you may also need to wait 24 hours. You did successfully edit some hours before this request. 331dot (talk) 08:17, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@331dot, I tried deleting cookies and have waited for 24 hours but the problem persists. As I said, mine isn't any VPN server. It seems to be a problem from your site only. SurajMal sir (talk) 01:53, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If the IP has been marked as a VPN in error, please make a new request, but such findings are not often in error and you will need to do more than just tell us it isn't one. 331dot (talk) 06:28, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

HL City moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to HL City. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ~~ αvírαm|(tαlk) 18:10, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:HL City[edit]

Hello, SurajMal sir. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "HL City".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
