Welcome![edit]

Hello, Suresh.papneja, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:Suresh.papneja/sandbox, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

A tag has been placed on User:Suresh.papneja/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Welcome![edit]

Hello, Suresh.papneja, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Writing about yourself is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians.

As this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them. A page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to or change it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Suresh.papneja. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. --Yamla (talk) 12:08, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is not optional. You must declare your conflict of interest. --Yamla (talk) 12:27, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

When you post on a talk page, please create a new heading, don't add your message to a different thread.

You have an obvious conflict of interest, please don't write about yourself, your friends, colleagues or relatives and read the guidance below:

  • When you write about a person, you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
  • Your text had no sources of any kind
  • Since we can't verify anything you have written, it's not possible to ascertain if she meets our notability guidelines
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • You refer to her throughout by her first name and randomly bold almost anything to do with her. Only the first occurrence of her name should be bold.
  • You have "Journey" when you mean "Career" and "Achievements" instead of "patents and publications", neither of which are criteria for notability
  • Your page was full of unverified and promotional claims, like her passion for technology... She is driven by the possibilities of bringing AI technology to benefit human systems by combining the best of human knowledge with the capabilities of AI... dream of bringing AI technology to benefit every system in the world... She rose to the challenge of negotiating cultural and communication differences to keep projects moving forward smoothly... Dr. Chopra’s innovation and successful application of data analysis and prognostics... Dr. Chopra believes that AI and ML technologies will bring in a revolution and will be possible only when we combine the best of human knowledge with AI. and more. We want real facts, not your opinions of her. You could post stuff like that on social media, where no one cares what you write, but it's not appropriate for an encyclopaedia.
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections. No direct likks to her patents etc.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
  • I didn't check
  • You had no wikilinks at all, eg Punjab, and your links to patents and publications probably should not be there since they link only to abstracts, but if they are kept they should be incorporate into appropriate templates like cite journal, not as loose external links.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. If you are writing about yourself, or someone you know as a friend, colleague, client, employer or relative, you have a conflict of interest, and you must disclose the nature of that COI.
