Speedy deletion nomination of WalletHub
[edit]Hello Surfjk,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged WalletHub for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Trivialist (talk) 22:31, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
- Sorry for the delay. I tagged the article for deletion because it seemed excessively promotional. If you can write an article that establishes that WalletHub meets Wikipedia's notability requirements, and the article isn't overly promotional, then it should be fine. Trivialist (talk) 23:41, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
The article WalletHub has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article was about a real person or group of people, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or an organized event, but did not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is actually significant enough for an encyclopedia article, you are free to re-create it, but this time you need to demonstrate that, which is best done by citing to reliable, secondary sources that are entirely unconnected to the topic.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Are you being paid to write this article? NawlinWiki (talk) 18:42, 11 September 2015 (UTC)
