Light Rail and Hospitals in Minneapolis

SusanLesch, hope you are well. I am not a fan of using the word "some" myself, however I would love to have a conversation about if it is warranted the edits you recently did the to the Minneapolis article.

for light rails: the city only has one light rail line that exclusively serves the city (the blue line) and is connected to Saint Paul by the only other line (green line) in the region. the mlps's blue line only serves downtown and south mlps (roughly half or just less than half of the city). the whole city is planned to be all connected by light rail within the next 15 to 20 years. however, since it is a not a robust system at all as of now, is the "serving part of the city" you deleted needed? i am personally leaning towards yes.

for hospitals: I looked for places mlps hospitals were listed as being top. in the U.S. News list of best hospitals 2021-22 i could not find anything listed for mlps. Link: https://www.beckershospitalreview.com/rankings-and-ratings/us-news-best-hospitals-2021-22-honor-roll.html . In Newsweek's 2021 Top 100 Hospitals in America, there are only two hospitals listed for mlps. Link: https://www.newsweek.com/best-hospitals-2021/united-states . how come you are adding in "several"? it makes it seem as a somewhat large supply of highly-rated hospitals. however the city only has two hospitals appear on the Newsweek's Top 100 list and none appear on U.S. News. kind of confusing...

Hope we can puzzle this out. i don't feel strongly either way but specificity is better than ambiguity

I agree with both of your points.
Minneapolis has only two recently ranked hospitals. My mistake, I did not mean to add "several" (that word came from a copy from June 2 or so).
I also agree some qualification is in order for light rail.
I will continue to remove redundant, filler text that dilutes the lead. (It should not say "the city" or "some" repeatedly.) This should be worked out on the article Talk page, not here. -SusanLesch (talk) 19:38, 4 June 2022 (UTC)

Opened Sockpuppet investigation on SpeedMcCool/MinneapolisHistorian1963

a disruptive editor that you may have seen, MinneapolisHistorian1963, is trying to push in similar edits as SpeedMcCool did in March. I have opened a sockpuppet investigation here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/SpeedMcCool . thought you might would like to know

Minneapolis

SusanLesch, I've removed one sentence and its references from "Culture --> Music" to the article's talk page. I think this text is off-topic for the article but feel free to restore it if you wish. Good luck with the article and cheers, Baffle☿gab 03:00, 8 June 2022 (UTC).
